I am currently working on projects with the Director of Buildings and Grounds to present necessary capital improvements for the campus to the board of trustees.

STURTEVANT HOME

The school's kitchen is nearly a century old and is in desperate need of some upgrades. I am working on a proposal for an addition to the kitchen that will allow for it to operate on a single level of the building. Currently much of the food storage is in the basement. This is more than an inconvenience. Narrow stairs make it a safety issue as well.

SARGENT GYMNASIUM

The gymnasium is int he process of conversion to become the school's fine arts building. The fine arts classes have already moved in, but many improvements are needed. My first proposal for this building is a new entrance on the east side so that it is accessible for people using wheelchairs, scooters, and other mobility devices. The new entrance also provides the opportunity to add an airlock, making the building more efficient during the heating season.
